In off-grid lighting, efficiency is not a specification detail it is the budget. Every extra lumen per watt reduces the panel wattage, the battery capacity, the pole load and the shipping weight that the project has to pay for. A fixture rated at 190 lm/W with 240 pcs of 5050 LED chips changes those downstream numbers, which is why the LEADRAY LR-SLC-H series was engineered around luminous efficacy first and everything else second.

Take a high-mast or large-road application where the target is 80W to 100W of installed LED power. At a conventional efficacy level, the same delivered light needs a larger PV array and a bigger LiFePO4 bank to survive the same number of overcast days. At 190 lm/W, the fixture reaches the required illuminance with less current draw, so the panel and battery can be specified smaller or, if the system size is fixed by an existing pole and mounting frame, the runtime and autonomy improve instead.
Either way, the saving lands in the same place: lower cost per lit kilometre, and a system that keeps its performance margin as the battery ages.

| Design decision | Conventional approach | LR-SLC-H approach |
|---|---|---|
| LED efficacy | Lower lm/W, more chips at higher current | 190 lm/W, 240 chips at controlled current |
| Thermal path | Thin housing, heat trapped near the LEDs | Premium aluminium body with large thermal mass |
| Panel placement | Fixed with the lamp, compromise on tilt | Split layout, panel angled for site latitude |
| Night profile | Constant full output, battery drained early | Programmed dimming with LiFePO4 stability |
| Mast suitability | Limited by weight and wind area | 80W/100W on high masts and large roads |
An efficacy figure is only credible if it is measured on production units. Our LED assembly line sits inside a 68,000 m² plant alongside the solar panel and battery pack workshops, and every batch passes photoelectric testing plus a full aging cycle before it is packed the same test data that supports certification reference No. LCS2111080754R. Because our R&D department owns the optical and driver design, a customer asking for a different beam angle, CCT or output level is discussing a parameter change with the people who wrote the specification.
Main roads, highways, ring roads, industrial parks and logistics hubs anywhere the pole is tall, the target illuminance is demanding and the energy budget is fixed. If your project involves high masts or a long-lit corridor, send the layout and we will return a configuration with the expected autonomy for your latitude and weather pattern.
