This is our LEADRAY split type solar street light project for an urban area abroad.

This location had a real problem: there was no good place for a regular lamp post, and running grid power along the buildings was complicated and expensive. The local team needed a lighting solution that could work in tight spaces, with no cables and no monthly electricity bills. Our split type solar street light was the answer.

What makes split type different? The solar panel and the lamp head are separate. That gives you much more freedom on site. You can mount the lamp head on a wall, fix it to a pole, or place the solar panel somewhere with the best sunlight like a rooftop or an open wall facing the sun. It fits places where an all-in-one light simply cannot.

The photos show the whole installation process. In the first pictures, you can see the crew lifting and fixing the light poles, moving the parts on site, and assembling the lamp units on the ground. The last photo shows the finished result: the lamp head mounted firmly on the building wall, neat and tidy, with the solar panel collecting sunlight from above.

For this project, we used our split type solar street light with high-brightness LED modules and a blue solar panel that charges quickly even in less-than-perfect sun. The included remote control makes daily management easy you can switch it ON, OFF or AUTO with one click. In AUTO mode, the light turns on automatically at dusk and switches off at dawn, so there is nothing for residents to do.
