Many rural communities and public fitness centers in Zimbabwe have unstable power supply and frequent power outages, which pose great challenges to residents' leisure activities at night. The client ultimately chose our split solar street light for this community fitness square project. The first real shot is the nighttime lighting effect of the project, where a single light can illuminate the entire fitness activity area, making it convenient for locals to exercise and relax in the evening.

The split structure, where the solar panel and lamp head are separated from each other, is the core reason why this style is very popular in African projects. Unlike integrated street lights, where the board and light are fixed together, the angle cannot be flexibly adjusted. In Zimbabwe, we can individually turn the photovoltaic panels towards due south and adjust them to the optimal tilt angle to maximize the capture of sunlight. Even if the rainy season is cloudy and the light is weak, the charging efficiency can be stabilized. The position of the lamp head can be freely adjusted according to the requirements of the venue, accurately covering open areas such as squares, trails, and sports fields.

This split street lamp is equipped with high conversion rate photovoltaic panels, with a photoelectric conversion rate of up to 23%; Paired with a large capacity high-temperature resistant lithium battery, it has strong endurance. After being fully charged, it can be stably lit for up to 20 hours at night, which is fully sufficient to cope with Zimbabwe's long rainy season and rainy days. Equipped with intelligent light control, it automatically lights up at night and turns off at dawn. It also supports timed dimming, saving energy on demand and extending battery life. The protection grade shall be IP66, dustproof and waterproof, and the rainstorm and sand dust environment in rainy season in Africa can be carried.

High brightness LED beads, with uniform and soft light that is not glaring, are very suitable for public spaces such as community squares where people are active. Modular design, easy maintenance and replacement of parts in the later stage, no need to replace the entire lamp, greatly reducing local operation and maintenance costs.

At the aging testing station in the workshop before shipment, each batch of lamp heads needs to be tested with electricity for a long time to screen out defective products and ensure stability and durability after being sent to Africa. The installation logic of the entire solution is clear, and the photovoltaic panels, batteries, controllers, and lamp heads are assembled separately. The local construction team can get started by reading the English manual. The lamp post supports customization, hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion, and is suitable for long-term outdoor use.

In addition to community fitness plazas, this split solar street light is also widely used in rural main roads, village parking lots, and small markets in Zimbabwe. For African regions with unstable power supply and frequent power outages, the split model is a highly flexible choice.
