From Singapore to Our Factory: A Buyer's Visit Focused on Solar Panels and Rooftop Power

From Singapore to Our Factory: A Buyer's Visit Focused on Solar Panels and Rooftop Power

2026-10-23

This week we welcomed a buyer from Singapore. Solar energy is nothing new there, but space is tight and every rooftop counts. He came to LEADRAY because his company works on distributed solar projects across the region, and he wanted a manufacturer who could deliver quality panels and handle projects beyond just selling hardware.

Our visit started in the office, where our team was checking solar panel samples on a long worktable. The buyer joined them right away. He watched closely as workers laid out the panels and turned them over to inspect the surface and the backsheet. He picked up a panel himself, checked the frame and cell layout, and asked how we test each batch. Our engineer showed him the testing routine and the pass criteria. He nodded and kept notes, the same way he would run his own site inspections.

The conversation moved to real installation challenges. In Singapore, rooftop solar means limited space, strong sun, high humidity and heavy rain. He asked how our panels hold up under long-term tropical weather, how the mounting structure handles wind load, and how drainage is managed between panels. These details matter when a system must run reliably for twenty years or more. We walked him through our design and materials, and backed every point with field data.

He was also interested in how we handle a full project, not just the products. He asked about system design, delivery, installation support and after-sales service. Our team explained how we coordinate with contractors from the first drawing to the final inspection. He said this end-to-end approach was exactly what his clients were looking for.

Then we took him to see a real rooftop installation nearby. Long rows of panels were mounted on a blue metal roof, with drainage channels and pipes between them. He walked the rows, checked how the panels were fixed, looked at the junction boxes and wiring, and asked about maintenance access. Seeing a completed rooftop project answered far more questions than any brochure could.

Back at the office, we went through shipping to Singapore: packaging, customs documents, certification paperwork and delivery time. He asked about warranty and long-term maintenance. Everything was written down, item by item.

Before he left, he said he would take our proposal to his team and hoped to start a pilot project soon. A visit like this is not just a tour. It is how we build trust for systems that will run on a rooftop for decades.

If you are planning a solar project in a compact, tropical market, come see us.
