1. Energy Saving: You don't need the integrated solar street light to be lit all night long from dust to dawn, especially after mid-night there is less people movement.
2. To extend the lighting hours and against the rainy day, if a solar street light lit with full brightness(100% power on) it can only work for 6 hours. But if we use the time control and set up the solar street light with some hours 100% brightness and some 30% and some 50%, etc. The solar street light can work more hours say like 12 hours( all night long). The solar street light must keep some power to against the rainy days.
3. As the integrated solar street light is powered by the solar, and the battery capacity is limited, we need to allocate the consumption of power. You may think that we can increase the capacity of the battery, if you do so, you need more batter units and bigger size of solar panel, in the end, the whole fixture will be larger and heavier which the poles can not stand, moreover, the cost increased definitely.
