February 26th, 2021 is the Chinese Traditional Lantern Festival. The Lantern Festival has a long history in China and Chinese communities all over the world. It is on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month every year. It is the night of the first full moon of the Chinese New Year, symbolizing the arrival of spring, and Chinese traditionally celebrate by eating Yuan Xiao, watching lanterns and guessing lantern riddles. It is the last day of the traditional definition of New Year and the first important holiday after the Spring Festival holiday.
